Paved multi-use path; cracks / uneven repairs possible
Follow the signed main path south on the separated Chisha Foka main path. Turn after 1 outward mile or before the first public-road crossing, work barrier, uncertain continuation or uncomfortable transition, whichever comes first; retrace. Longleaf Trace: Epley to Clyde return
Epley, Hattiesburg area
10 mi · Out-and-back

Rice Road multi-use trailhead: short bicycle return
Ridgeland
Up to 1 mile return · Out-and-back
Asphalt designated sidepath
Follow the signed main path west along the north side of Rice Road toward the wooded Chisha Foka connection. Turn after 0.5 outward miles or before the first public-road crossing, work barrier, uncertain continuation or uncomfortable transition, whichever comes first; retrace. Walk any initial lot or access-drive interface. Do not use a road or private-property detour.
Tanglefoot Trail: short south return from New Albany library
New Albany
Up to 1 mile return · Out and back
Asphalt rail-trail; individual bridge decks can differ
Walk from the designated public lot to the Tanglefoot Trail directly behind the library. Head south, away from the downtown Main Street trail bridge. Retrace after half a mile, or before the first bridge, road crossing, construction control or unsuitable surface, whichever comes first. This is a short return, not the Ecru–Ingomar course or a ride to Houston.
Short southbound library return only. Bridge and surface improvements elsewhere remain under review. Turn before the first bridge, road crossing or work barrier; do not attempt the full trail on the strength of this guide. Respect any library expansion controls.
