Jordan River — Nature Center at Pia Okwai: short bicycle return
South Salt Lake
Up to 1 mile return · Out-and-back
Asphalt main river path; nature-center lot walk is separate
Follow the signed main path south along the asphalt Jordan River main path. Turn after 0.5 outward miles or before the first public-road crossing, work barrier, uncertain continuation or uncomfortable transition, whichever comes first; retrace. Walk any initial lot or access-drive interface. Do not use a road or private-property detour.
Liberty Park paved multi-use loop: short bicycle return
Salt Lake City
About 1.4 miles, one counterclockwise lap · Loop
Paved outer multi-use loop; not wood-chip pedestrian trail or inner sidewalk
Walk from east visitor parking across Constitution Drive to the designated outer paved multi-use path. Follow posted counterclockwise direction for one complete lap, using the slow lane and walking each vehicle-gateway interface. Return to the same access and walk back. If a work barrier prevents a complete lap, postpone rather than retrace against one-way travel. Do not switch to wood-chip pedestrian loop, inner sidewalk or road.
Moab Colorado River Pathway: short Lions Park return
Moab
Up to 2 miles return · Out and back
Paved separated river pathway
Walk from designated hub parking to the paved path and use the SR 128 underpass. Follow the separated Colorado River Pathway upstream up to one mile and retrace before any path end or traffic-road connection.
Murdock Canal Trail — Lindon View short south return
Lindon
0.9 mi · Out-and-back
Paved canal path with a walked paved park connection.
Start at the Lindon View trailhead, walk your bicycle past the restroom building to the main Murdock Canal Trail, ride south to a turnaround before East Center Street, and return on the same path. The mapped walking approach adds roughly 0.1 mile for both directions, plus movement within the parking lot. Expect about a mile of total movement rather than an exact stall-to-stall distance.
North Marina — North Shore east return
Saratoga Springs
2.1 mi · Out-and-back
Asphalt main path; walk the marina approach.
Follow the paved North Shore path east from North Marina Park, keeping Utah Lake beside you, then return before the path continues along the shoreline neighborhood's road. Allow about 2.1 miles of riding, plus a short walked approach from the marina parking area.
Virgin River North — Crosby Family Confluence Park: short bicycle return
St. George
Up to 1 mile return · Out-and-back
Paved designated river multi-use path; inspect bridges and flood debris
Follow the signed main path northeast on the signed paved Virgin River NORTH main trail, not Santa Clara River branch or Hell Hole spur. Turn after 0.5 outward miles or before the first public-road crossing, work barrier, uncertain continuation or uncomfortable transition, whichever comes first; retrace. Walk any initial lot or access-drive interface. Do not use a road or private-property detour.
