Reviewed 2026-10-22. Fresh profile describes Waterbury’s first two-mile paved bicycle/pedestrian section between Bristol and Eagle streets. Regional November 2022 minutes confirm public opening; city’s 2025 planning record dates formal opening to 2023. Planned West Main/downtown extension remains separate. The profile’s mixed park-network surface list does not make nature trails part of the paved bike course. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.
