Tinley Creek system — Midlothian Reservoir paved return

Illinois · Greenway

Walk from the public reservoir visitor area to the signed paved bicycle route. Follow only the developed reservoir-area path for up to half a mile and retrace before an actual end, work barrier or traffic-road link. Do not add natural ravine trails or assume all Tinley loops are presently clear.

Access note. Short reservoir-area paved course only. Wider Tinley/Midlothian Meadows system has active paving restrictions; do not bypass barriers or add natural ravine paths.

Reviewed 2026-10-22. Fresh indexed owner location page identifies this public entrance, parking and bicycle trail access. The wider system has multiple paved loops and natural branches; Midlothian Meadows has active Green Loop paving work listed July 13–November 30, 2026. That separate property is not this short reservoir outing, and no blanket system reopening is claimed. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.

Map and Directions

Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
