City safety guidance closes the greenway from 10 p.m. until dawn; choose daylight for this outing. No casual trail-use tariff established in the reviewed sources; posted parking and admission terms govern.

Reviewed 2026-10-22. City’s September 21 status list marks Japanese Gardens complete and identifies its August 2025 opening. Forest Hill and I-65 connections remain unfinished; the advertised 6.5 miles is a future system, not this continuous ride. Check floodwater, bridge condition and posted barriers. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.
