Reviewed 2026-10-22. RFTA’s June 2026 map identifies the Carbondale access and separate trail branches. The wildlife section at mile 16–18.5 closes November 30–April 30 and prohibits dogs year-round; this outing heads the other way, toward Glenwood, and excludes that reach. A seasonal road detour is not a qualifying trail substitute. Manager’s trail standards describe the Glenwood–Emma main trail as ten-foot asphalt, with separate soft shoulders and natural branches. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.

Map and Directions

Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
