Permission and effort: City expressly permits cycling and identifies this concrete section and public start. Main path follows the levee top with approach rises; city describes the farther underpass transition as gentle, but this outing does not require it. No current maximum gradient or lot-approach survey is established.
Planning: Greenway dawn–dusk; park’s longer summer / winter hours do not extend this ride. No current ordinary parking or trail tariff established; posted terms govern. Yield to people walking, announce passes and stop for vehicle interfaces. Ordinary pedal bicycles covered here.
Access reviewed October 20, 2026 Central (October 21 UTC): Current city profile retains this concrete section, marked Cairo crossing and parking recommendation. It is not a current flood or tread inspection. Do not enter high water or use a road bypass; Stuart Nelson sports-complex works and western gravel are outside this course.
Bring water and choose suitable weather. Parking walking is extra. No surveyed parking-space pin or navigable GPX is supplied.
