Planning: Choose daylight and posted Hobart lot terms; older NPS 6 AM–11 PM does not override local gates. NPS east-head profile says no parking / entrance charge; local posted terms control. County western Oak Ridge gate charges are a separate arrival. Yield to walkers and horses where present, keep right and announce passes. Obey posted speed, helmet and pet requirements. Ordinary pedal bicycles covered here; no blanket e-bike-class permission inferred.

Access reviewed October 20, 2026 Central (October 21 UTC): Fresh NPS profile repeats public east start and paved bike course but is last updated September 2023, not a new field check. Current western Oak Ridge county park has 7 AM–sunset and parking charges despite older NPS blanket free/longer hours; those western terms are not automatically imposed on this Hobart lot. Local signs and actual closures control. This is a dated source review, not a field inspection or current-day all-clear. Postpone for snow, ice, high water, soft tread or barriers rather than improvising a bypass.

Bring water and choose suitable weather. Parking walking is extra. No surveyed parking-space pin or navigable GPX is supplied.
