Reviewed 2026-10-22. A current Amherst update retains a 500-foot closure between South East Street and Station Road for safety repairs. DCR also schedules October 26–28,2026 daytime inspections at three Amherst bridge/underpass locations, with cautionary access. That inspection notice does not independently reopen the existing safety closure. The selected short Hadley return is west of those Amherst areas. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.
Map and Directions
Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
