Reviewed 2026-10-22. Town-hosted DelDOT opening release confirms 1,600 feet of new trail plus converted trestle opened June 29, 2020 for walking/cycling. Town’s authored 2018 resolution names Phase II as Lavinia–Federal; combined with the actual opening record it supports this selected completed reach. A retired 2021 town packet was not treated as a live link. A larger planned trail network is not added. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.

Map and Directions

Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
