Use daylight and obey posted trail, park and parking hours. NPS lists no bicycle activity fee. Cave tours and separately reserved services have their own charges and booking requirements.
Reviewed 2026-10-22. NPS explicitly permits bikes on this nine-mile gravel trail and warns of potholes and steep grades; it is not uniformly flat despite its railroad history. Current rendered NPS alerts show Green River Ferry out of service for low water and several separate hiking-trail closures. Approach from the south without relying on the ferry. No named Railroad closure appeared in those alerts at retrieval; that is not a field all-clear. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.
Map and Directions
Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
