Dallas, Texas · Up to 2 miles return · Concrete shared wheels path

Start: Katy Trail — Reverchon Park, Reverchon Park, 3505 Maple Avenue, Dallas, Texas. Current Friends explicitly permits parking near the baseball fields at Reverchon Park, with ramp up to Katy Trail. Walk that initial ramp and lot connection; no road riding or stairs required. Do not substitute nearby restaurant parking. Use designated ordinary visitor spaces, respect reserved spaces and walk through the lot to the signed main path. The address identifies a public facility, not a surveyed stall.

Ride: Follow the signed main path north on the shared concrete wheels path. Turn after 1 outward mile or before the first public-road crossing, work barrier, uncertain continuation or uncomfortable transition, whichever comes first; retrace. Walk any initial lot or access-drive interface. Do not use a road or private-property detour.

Distance: Chosen 2-mile maximum return, not the full regional corridor or a surveyed parking-to-parking distance. Earlier interfaces shorten the outing; parking walking is extra.

Permission and effort: Source-backed ordinary bicycle use on the designated improved main path; walking-only spurs and adjacent private property are excluded. Former-rail main line is a modest-effort editorial choice, not a surveyed maximum grade. Initial park ramp can rise; walk it both ways. This is not a flat rating for every park connector.

Planning: Choose daylight within city park hours 5 a.m.–11 p.m. No current ordinary access tariff established; posted terms govern. Event, camping and rental charges are separate. Ten mph maximum, slower near others; use shared wheels path, not pedestrian-only parallel tread. Keep right, announce left passes, short-leash pets and watch children. Friends says disengage electric bicycles; ordinary pedal use is this guide’s scope.

Access reviewed October 20, 2026 Central (October 21 UTC): Fresh Friends rules retain Harvard / Knox traffic crossings. This short return turns before the first road crossing rather than including all3.5 miles. Ordinary park / trail notices and event restrictions govern; no current-day tread inspection claimed. This is a dated source review, not a field inspection or current-day all-clear. Postpone for snow, ice, high water, soft tread or barriers rather than improvising a bypass.

Bring water and choose suitable weather. Parking walking is extra. No surveyed parking-space pin or navigable GPX is supplied.
