Indian Creek Trail — paved Roe Park return

Kansas · Greenway

From Roe Park join the signed Indian Creek paved shared-use path west for up to two miles and retrace. Remain on the red paved shared-use alignment in the county bicycle map, rather than purple walking paths, road lanes or the distant Missouri extension. Turn before a flooded underpass or work fence.

Access note. Creek underpasses may flood or collect mud; turn before hazards or work barriers. Stay on the Kansas shared-use path, not road lanes or walking-only branches.

Reviewed 2026-10-22. County map distinguishes paved shared-use trails from walking-only trails, bike lanes and shared roadways. This short Kansas outing does not reach the distant US 69 works or Missouri Holmes–Lydia closure. The map’s May 2024 date is not a current physical inspection; respect all newer local signs and mud or flood restrictions. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.

Map and Directions

Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
