Reviewed 2026-10-22. Current city page explicitly identifies the opened Hikshari’ segment, its 1.5-mile scope and bicycle use. A published regional transportation study describes its developed paved surface, but its old full PDF link now returns 404 and is not represented as a fresh field inspection. Coastal Conservancy records distinguish the existing trail from later estuary extensions; those proposed/other phases are not added. Check current city work and storm controls. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.
Map and Directions
Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
