Reviewed 2026-10-22. Fresh county general trail page says the Athens section now spans2.8 miles toHancockRoad, with a separate1.6-mileWinterville section. Its greenway subpage still describes the older one-mile opening; the newer trail directory is used for scope. Operator map confirms Dudley public arrival. This return excludes the gap and other towns’ separate sections. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.
