Ride: Walk from the north park visitor parking to the signed creekside greenway. Follow the separated path for up to half a mile, then retrace, turning before any railroad crossing, traffic road or barrier.

The city’s map identifies an existing 1.1-mile Drakes Creek Park greenway loop and separate connectors. This outing is a shorter return, not a promise to complete the loop or reach Veterans Park. Future links, the Warrior mountain-bike trail and ordinary street bike routes are excluded.

Surface and effort

Paved designated greenway; natural trails and park driving lanes excluded. Creekside path with bends and possible bridge approaches; no surveyed maximum grade. Walk transitions or turn back if flooded, icy or uncomfortable.

Yield to walkers, slow for blind bends and stop at every street, driveway and parking crossing. Wet boardwalks, loose gravel, flooding, debris and ice can change suitability. Turn back rather than bypass a closure or enter motor traffic.

Hours, costs and access

Current trail-specific hours not established. Use daylight and obey park gate and event restrictions. No specific greenway fee established. Check posted public parking and event terms.
