Reviewed 2026-10-22. The city identifies the 3.8-mile hiker/biker trolley corridor, and the current state trail directory identifies its paved trail. A local government April 2026 notice closed the bridge between Campus Drive and Paint Branch Trail for repairs with a tentative May 28 target; completion was not verified. The Berwyn north return does not require that bridge. Future trail projects and linked tributary routes are separate. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.

Map and Directions

Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
