Reviewed 2026-10-22. Trail organization’s own route description documents this paved nature-center-to-Fort-Miles reach and its road crossing. Its broader 3.8-mile loop description follows the entrance road on the return; this guide uses a separated out-and-back instead. Friends’ current Bike Barn notice closes bike loans for October 19–November 3 maintenance, not a blanket closure of the bicycle trail. Bring a bicycle and check actual access signs.
