Crossings and shared use

Hours, costs and access
Choose daylight and obey posted trail and parking hours. Winter gates and snow affect access. State lists $5 day-use parking per calendar day at Bird Point; applicable annual passes may be honored. Camping is separate.
Reviewed 2026-10-22. State’s October 20, 2026 status list marks both Bird Point and Indian–Girdwood Path open, while facilities along the path are closed for the season. Regional resurfacing and avalanche/water-damage projects mean work can interrupt a chosen trip; an advertised project completion date is not used as proof of completion. Ride only in suitable snow-free conditions. This is a source review, not a same-day inspection. Recheck the linked manager before travel.
Map and Directions
Use the named public start and its posted parking signs. The map reference identifies the facility or selected trail area; it is not a surveyed parking stall or navigable route line. Bicycle and e-bike rules can differ; only ordinary bicycle use is established unless noted.
