Planning: Daylight; park closes at dusk and on Christmas Day. Office hours are not park hours. No current ordinary access tariff established; posted terms govern. Event, camping and rental charges are separate. Yield to other users, keep dogs leashed and obey closure signs / tape. County permits Class 1 pedal-assist on bicycle trails but excludes Class 2 and Class 3; this guide covers ordinary pedal bicycles. Do not substitute unpaved mountain-bike or fitness trails.
Access reviewed October 20, 2026 Central (October 21 UTC): County currently lists bicycle use and posted-closure policy. The detailed approach and rise description come from a 2019 walk revised 2021, not a current field survey. This short course deliberately excludes the described steeper rise and landfill access-road crossing; current signs and actual tread govern. This is a dated source review, not a field inspection or current-day all-clear. Postpone for snow, ice, high water, soft tread or barriers rather than improvising a bypass.
Bring water and choose suitable weather. Parking walking is extra. No surveyed parking-space pin or navigable GPX is supplied.
